He who loves, flies, runs, and rejoices; he is free and nothing holds him back.
- Henri Matisse

I am a Puerto Rican artist, born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico.  Life took me to Fishers, Indiana almost twenty years ago, where I currently live with my husband and children.

After 13 years of creating art solely for recreation and spiritual retreat, I decided to become a full-time artist in 2020 focusing on mixed media collage art. I mix media with paper to create representational collage paintings related to my upbringing in Puerto Rico and personal life experiences. Therefore, I strive to reflect my love for music, dance, nature, and the Caribbean using bold colors and lines in my compositions to provide movement and provoke a feeling. My goal is to bring joy and positive emotions through my paintings. Many have described my work as “painting with paper” due to the detailed lines and definition that bring my subjects to life.

I am very fortunate to love what I do and to have the support of my family, friends and art colleagues.  For this, and so much more, I am humbled and forever grateful.

I am also a beach hopper, a dancer, a book worm.  I love to travel, learn about other cultures and speak three languages. I believe in positive thinking and that we all deserve dignity and respect.
